That is unbelievable! The rattler was as big as the black snake. Thay is my kinda rattler... and black snake! Thanks for sharing.

There is a blacksnake about that size living in my detached garage. He is welcome to stay. I have seen pics like this before, but not as big a rattler. My wife is even ok with it, but she is really hesitant to go in there, and when it comes to sticking her hand behind something, she's out. I have heard that venomous snakes are nonexistant where big black snakes live. And the chipmunks that played havoc with my garden aren't as big a problem this year, either. Go gitcha one!

ive seen a black kill a copperhead like that before

Reminds me of the Bible...where Moses and Aaron's snake ate the pharoah's. Pretty cool.
