Imho, if you want to save this runt, put it in your pocket and keep it there, else your prolonging the suffering.
It takes alot of time devoted to one of these, the schedule for feeding, cleaning and watchover is best accomplished by a grandmother or stay-at-home mom.

Good luck with what ever you do, it is a paradox, you feel good for trying and sad at the same time when it dries up in your hand... ... if you beat the odds... good on you.

He is still alive and kicking. Drank a Little milk too. The gasping of air went away. He is good and warm under a heat lamp with the rest of them. I'm trying to keep him going. If he makes it thru day 1 and 2 I'll be one happy guy

Your main focus must remain on his staying warm, not getting pushed away from the teat and being stimulated by the bitch to excrete waste.

... ps. anytime I checked on them sleeping, I would slip him from the pile and put him on the teat for extra, when there's no competition at the time.

Not sure but looks like i see a red one in there, I am with patch slip the runt to the front when the others sleep, I have seen em make it and not, bottle feeding just is not any fun. Seems like ur gonna be a good mom urself, we are gonna have to get u a woman after this litter. .....Good luck with em, They just aint much as cute as beagle pups for sure.

Glad someone posted earlier. Swinging the pup works. Have had to do this twice. Saved both of them. Hope he makes it. Congrats on the new litter. It's fun watching them grow. Just like your kids. Takes alot of work also. Good luck with them.

Congrats Joey. They look great. I had one that didn't want to eat at first. I bottle fed him a couple of times and he started to feed on his own. He made it just fine. Good luck with them.
