Bobby Vest wrote:If I keep losing places to run rabbits I think I'll get some coyote dogs. Surely any one would let you run a cayote dog. How many do you need to run at a time and do they go for the kill or do you do it ? How big an area do most coyotes run with a pack after them?

It really depends Mr. Vest. A male will straight line alot more often than a female usually a female will run circles and stay in a tighter area better. Time of year also makes a difference like right now when they're roaming and breeding you can get some that will run for miles from where you jumped them. You get on a male right now you never know where you'll end up. They travel for miles to pair up and mate and when they get dogs on them they usually go back to their home territory before they'll start circling. It's alot of fun and every beagler should go coyote hunting and experience the fun of running over big hounds I'm sure you'd all love it.

I am a beagler and a coyote hunter. I am only saying this to inform everyone. My work computer blocked the image of the photo so I can't tell how graphic it was. Please be careful what we are putting on the internet, on our hunting message forums. The anti's have got fox pens shut down in Florida and they got there evidence, (for the lack of better words) through a message forum similar to this one. Don't think for a minute that they want come after us beaglers next. birmi1nr, I am not trying to single you out just putting out the info. You could find out more info about what is happening on masterfox.net.
Thanks,
Jared
