I had tubes in my ears 3 different times as a kid. That was back in the day where it wasn't a day surgery... I was out for each of them. It is pretty much a no brainer for the surgeon. Your son should go through it fine. I will keep him in my thoughts and prayers.

It will be alright its pretty comon these days my nephew just had it done he is eleven little old to get tubes put in and one even came undone went back took it out put in a new one everything good now no more ear ache my wife & my prayers are with you

Glad to hear everything went fine kids are very tough they bounce back a whole lot quicker than we do but there is nothing that will worry you anymore than your kids. We spent a night in the ER this Past June after our 11 yr old son flipped a 4 wheeler and had to have 11 staples put in the top of his head told him it didn't do much good to wear the helmet if you weren't going to bucklet it. Pretty scary feeling when him and his sister come screaming into the house and you see he is COVERED in blood from his forehead to the waist band of his shorts but GOD is almighty and our GREAT physician it could have been ALOT worse. Your little guy will be bouncing around like nothing happens in a day or two best wishes.

I am glad he is alright when I was eight I had my tonsil take out know I am 48 years old so back then to be put under they use ethir and they had no sucktion so when you woke up all you could smell is ethir it would make you sick by its self not counting all of the blood in my stomach ,but it come up to al morning and to this day when I smell rubbing alcohol I get disy good thing ,things change

You know, being a parent is a tough situation. I know it's tough when they are at that age, but I haven't found the age yet that you don't worry about them if something is wrong. I know my mother is 94 yrs young and she still worries about me and my sister if something is wrong. God bless all parents because it sure isn't an easy job, and may he be with you and your child through this ordeal.
