I plan on breeding Chilly Creek Huckleberry back to Chilly Creek Dottie as soon as she comes in heat again. They made a fine cross before.

Here is Huck.

Here is Dottie.

There past litter.

And at six weeks old here are two from the litter.

Is Huck and Dottie pure patch-bred? If so could you tell us what bloodline they are from. Thanks Frank

Wow S.R. thats some kinda fall, our thoughts here in Ohio go out to you. Been a long time since I got on the board and thats not the kinda stuff you want to read about when you get back on the beagle site here. We are down to two beagles now Dozer and Gunner, but dad still has all his Patches. With the kids getting older and into wrestling the hunting time doesn't come around as much as it used to, can't justify having a kennel full if we don't get them out.(to bad wrestling is a winter sport haha).

I am looking for a pure patch female to buy. I have a real good male that is Yates blood top and bottom Mike copper patch three generations back top and bottom west river pache Belle third gen. on top and a little sandyline on top. If someone has a female that can run her own rabbit and do a pretty good job. I would like to have something directly out of Bossman. I will buy her breed her and give you pick of the litter.I have a Lesage female that I am going to cross with a male I have out of Plowboys Pache Ronda. This is the second time on this cross The pups that I have heard back from are started and doing good.

chuck r. good luck with those crosses. I know the dog we got out of blanche X Jack Pache Brumbaugh is a hunting machine!! We love him to death. Last time out he split his paw bad. We never knew it until he was back at the house and wouldnt stop messing with it. The vet could not believe that he kept hunting on that paw.

Chuck,
How does Blanche compare to Shantie (size, speed, etc.)?
I'd be interested in a female pup if we can work out a meeting place like we did this last time.
I am very pleased with Pearl, I'm considering taking her snowshoe hunting this week with the big dogs, this would be the first time with a pack if I do. She has very good control for a pup and I'm just a little nervous about putting too much pressure on her in a pack.
