He'll bust the $hit out of em...! I've seen it myself a lot and his pups do the same as well. He'll solo a rabbit to death, he alone will run a rabbit stiff. His inside check work is very clean and quick. At 8 years old he's still whooping on younger hounds!

Laneline hands down! I would say go run with the dogs yourself to really see. I am only saying this because I have seen their dogs first hand. In a trial you only get in “most cases” about an hour in a cast and only 30 to 35 minutes of running time. You can’t really see the real dog in that much time. I am going to PA next week to visit family. I plan on going hunting with some Laneline dogs, their “Dingus” male to be exact.

They are pure gunhunters, if they have a lack of hunt, the dogs are down and/or out, they simply don’t tolerate it. Several generations of that kind of culling and breeding and those traits are locked in and will also be reproduced at a higher percentage, to whatever female they are bred to, and continued through her pups. Remember, some dogs hunt well because they have had excellent training by excellent trainers. For other dogs, you just need to stick them where there are rabbits and raw instincts take over. Just something to think about when you go to breed a female.

Their “Dingus” male is a very difficult dog to deal with in the field. If a dog has got his speed “or faster”, he tends to make them look silly because of his nose and tight line while they over-run. And if the dog has his nose and line, they won’t have near his speed so he tends to make them look silly. These kinds of dogs are hard to get and hard to find. He has a great mouth and you top that off with extreme hunt and… well, just call them up and see for yourself. Good Luck!
