A general forum for the discussion of hunting with beagles, guns, clothing and other equipment and just talking dawgs! (Tall tales on hunting allowed, but remember, first liar doesn't stand a chance)
One of my gyps got loose and got "Hooked UP" with a neighbor dog. I do not want these puppies, this happened this evening about 8 PM East Coast time. Can a Vet help?? Or
some vets will give the female a shot to keep her from catching must be done within 3 days of mating. a lot of vets wont give this anymore best bet find a good ole country vet.
p/s the shot will make them stay in heat a little longer.
yes they can give her a shot if it is within 48 hrs i think ..or you could cullthem when born. as trhe shot can cause problems for the female i was told . i gave the shot and didnt have any problems yrs ago.
All the Vets are giving me the "We can't do that" . My regular vet tells me to bring Her in in 30 days to do a Ultrasound and IF she is pregnant $ 800-900 to "FIX" the problem
The Country I live in has LEGAL abortions on HUMANS. Even very late in the pregnancy. Are the Vets in your area saying that an unwanted unborn puppy has more rights than an unborn child ??? Western Maryland should be very near plenty of liberal Vets Im sure if you call enuff you can find 1 that has had an abortion herself !!!!!!!!
