ARHA Clubs in the St. Charles, MO Area?

Post by Cameron Denison »

I'm looking for a club in the St. Charles, Missouri area. I have a year old ARHA registered male and I'm interested in meeting some of the other local beaglers and getting involved in some of the trialing events. Any help on what to look for or what to avoid in a club, or any information on clubs in the area would be appreciated.

Cameron, I believe there is a hunt in Tiff Mo. this weekend. You should come down and check it out. Let me know if you want more info and I'll get it for you.

I'm in my brother-in-law's wedding this weekend... I saw Tiff has events quite often, is it a very far drive?

Im not sure where you are located in St. Charles but Tiff is about a 70 mile drive from 70 and First Capital Dr. It is down hwy 21 if you know where that is. Im located near 30 and 270 and it takes me about 45 min. There is also a club in Desoto Mo. Im sure there are clubs closer to you but its not a bad drive if you would like to check out some hunts.

I figure I'll make the drive the next chance I get. Is there a "season" for field trials, or do they just go on all the time? I'm located at Zumbhel and 70 (next exit west). I would love to skip out on everything this weekend and take the hound out in this new snow, but it will probably be gone by tomorrow.

You work for Finch! I know the Finch's. My parents had a place up on the Mississippi River down the road from Chuck and Louise Finch. I am a Project Engineer for Tarlton. My email is cameron.denison@charter.net.

If you don't mind driving a few hours, Coon Island Beagle Club is in Neelyville, MO. We have a few LP hunts a year. Tiff is probably the closest to St Charles. They're a good group of guys that run it. O always enjoy visiting up there.
