How many dogs do you own?

Jim,

I have three running dogs, a retired veteran, and two pups on the way. Just so happens they are of the same stock
you run. I have three young dogs (three yr. olds) that are all nice dogs. One of my females is a 13" B&T out of heavy
Dingus stuff on both sides. I have two pups coming soon. One from Larry Perry, who I got his info. from your site.
I also have a female pup coming that is Dingus and Indian Hills in 5 weeks. I plan on trying to come out and run with
you all at the "Woodbury Classic" next year if that happens. I really like the Dingus line. You don't do much brushpile

JIM I TRY TO AVERAGE 8 DOGS LIKE THE SOUND OF BIG PACK I RUN AN AVER. OF 4 DAYS AWK.8 IS ENOUGHT TO BREAK RUN KEEP CONTROL OF IM ARUNNER NOT AGUNNER YOUNG GUYS GUN SOME OVER MY DOGS N SEASON I RUN ALOT MORE THAN I GUN. DONT HAVE THAT MUCH GAME.

I have six. They are just about all I can handle right now. If I were out in the country, I would prob. have more.

I keep 6 to 8 most of the time , right now I have 5 bitch's and 2 males. I generally raise 1 litter of pups & have a litter now , they were whelped 5/13/09.

I have 7 dogs, 1-7yr old, 2-3yr olds, a 2yr old, 1yr old, a 10mo old and a 5mo old. Had 2 other young ones this winter but there's no way I could have done that many young dogs justice, so we let them go. We don't do any hunting just running and trialing.

Currently have four, thats a good number for me. I have had six and will be there soon again with pups on the way but six is really pushin my limit. Like many others I cycle through dogs lookin for that world beater and have let many nice hounds go. I run for pleasure , trial and gun.

2 running dogs both just over a year old.

1 9 week old pup
when i get my 2 from you that will make me 7 .
but the 2 older pups might be just house dogs just not sure yet.
doc is comeing on good.
we will have our stavemill pup and laneline pups that are going to be getting the majority of my attention.
and if i get down to just running these 4 i would be happy.
the others can be the wifes foot warmers..LOL
altho bonnie is doing better each time out so i can't knock her. but she's another one of vic's babies .

I currently have 6 Beagles. One is just a house dog, two are 4 year olds, one 2 year old, and two are yearlings. Right now it is all I can do justice. I ran the two yearlings 4 afternoons last week. They will get 4 afternoons this week and maybe 1 morning , weather permitting. I don't need many more. I always seem to hunt with at least one other dog owner. I can carry 2 or 3 to the trials and still don't get to handle them all most of the time. If I had more it would take away from the time the others get in the field. I don't like to run big packs all the time.
