My 7 year old went on opening day last year along with my wife and 11 year old son. Those times are priceless and they grow so fast. I remember my daughter's first time out running the hounds. My wife had to back her stroller up because the rabbit ran right across the front of it. She was 4 months old. yesterday, my son and I picked pokeweed sprouts for the elderly ladies at church while the hounds ran all around us. My son, who seemed to have been only a toddler yesterday, made the walk down the aisle and was baptized Friday night at our revival. They grow so fast!
BTW, be careful with the little ones in the field. I got a hound copperhead bitten yesterday also. It would be devastating to a small child. The hound is well, back to eating and putting weight on the leg today.

Will, I think the 8th smiley from the left probably describes her. Don't you love it when they work so hard to keep up and then no sooner than the truck gets warm they are having sweet dreams? Makes me wish I could fall asleep that easy!

Yeah she is my pride and joy. She just wore me out to post again...lol It was hot today and she was throwing a fit to let a dog out to run...lol That day she went with us she was jumping in the creeks and stuck in the mud. she loves its. I hate the ticks this year are so bad I am probably not going to take her very often if at all. I went yesterday and sprayed The Super Off on and I picked probably 30 off of me. None bit but my legs were covered.

Luckily we dont have the snakes like you all do. I see some black ones and garter snakes but a poisonous snake is rare here. They have to be here but Ive never seen one or heard of anyone seeing one in the Louisville, Shelby, Spencer area.
