Don
I have been interested in this breeding for sometime now. I just went and watched Larry Flannery's male Trap Shootin Luke run this morning he has Major in his Pedigree 3 times on the top side. I really like this dog and the Indian Hills breeding. :camo:
I would definately be interested in a pup!

Hi Don,

I have a male that you may be interested in. I will send you more info on him via email. He was bred in MS by Irvin Malone, who had Majer at his kennel and bred him to many of his hounds.

Thanks

Kenyon

To main event I'm sorry if thats the wrong spelling but thats how its spelled on about all my pedigree's. I have nothing but the up most respect for this hound and thats way I'm tring to keep this blood alive. I've spent a lot of time and money tring breed and stay as close to him as I can for the last 15 plus years. I am sorry ment no disrespect to anyone or this great hound FC. INDIAN HILL'S MAJER. Hey Chris,

If you look really close in my previous post. I corrected the name in the subject line and in my response. I am sure that if you do a search you will find info under Indian Hills MAJOR and MAJER. The most important thing is to meet people who have the blood. I don't think Majer will be rolling over in his grave because his name is misspelled. How are your hounds?

Mr Nash:
I think your comments and the fact that you are trying to preserve this line show your respect for it .The fact is that the dogs name is spelled in an uncommon way.People are going to spell it the way they are most familiar with.I seriously doubt any of them are trying to disrespect the dog.We still have a little of this blood in some of our dogs and I still tend to write it as Major instead of Majer. If a misspelling ever becomes a sign of disrespect around here then a bunch of us are in trouble.if I ever have a dog gone for 15 years and people still care enough to ask about him then I will be very proud.

i wasn`rt calling anyone out but this hound is mispelled way to often.

i have mispelled some names putting them in pedigree blocks.

some people actually believe his name is MAJOR and it`s not.

i love the blood myself.

air force ken i m getting a few tuned up hopefully i will have some with with these females.
do you still have e clue. chris
