MID-GEORGIA TO HOLD 2ND ANNUAL KIDS/PUPPY HUNT MAR 27TH

Mid-Georgia Beagle Club will be holding its second annual “Kids/Puppy Hunt” on March 27th, 2004.
Parents, Grandparents and interested adults: You are invited to bring their puppies and a Child Handler (or two) to this Fun Event and enjoy a day in the outdoors with two of your favorites. Last year’s hunt was a great success and kids (of all ages) had a terrific time.
The following will apply:
a. There will be two classes of hounds at the Fun Hunt; the First Group is for puppies up to “One Year Old”. The Second Group is for puppies between “One and Two Years Old.” Open to Registered or Grade (Unregistered Beagle puppies).
b. Tussahaw Beagle Club, (located at 538 Fincherville Rd, Jackson, GA) has been kind enough to let us use their facilities to hold this event.
c. The “Kids/Puppy Hunt” will be start at 9:00 AM on March 27, 2004 at Tussahaw Beagle Club’s clubhouse. Fees will be 5.00 for Bench, $15.00 for the Hunt or $20.00 for both the Bench and Hunt.
d. Entrants are encouraged to have a child handler for each puppy - an adult must accompany each child, however an adult who has no child handler can enter and handle his/her own hound.
e. Shock Collars will be allowed during these hunts and there will be no disqualification of First Group puppies, however Second Group puppies that run Off-Game will be disqualified and picked-up.
f. Every Child Handler 12 and under will be awarded a trophy.
g. An “unofficial” Trade Day will also be held at the same time – If you have Beagles that you would like to trade, sell or give away, feel free to bring them. No fees will be charged for Trade Day activities.
