I will say this....Back when Indiana beaglers were fighting against a commission board to run their dogs on some public property, I believe Rabbits Unlimited (RU) was contacted and asked to help fight this...to my knowledge they never lifted a finger to help. If I am not mistaken, several folks asked them to help out with this and they did nothing. Someone correct my information if I am wrong.

I also looked into RU and was considering joining. I found out they are mainly into it for 2-couple pack trials and building up their own running grounds/pens in Abbeville, SC. I could not find one thing they did for rabbit hunters across the board. I asked what they did to further rabbit hunting as in legislative matters (protecting hunters rights), asked repeatedly, and never received a reply :( So I decided RU must be all about furthering their own agenda (2-couple pack trials) and their own club grounds.......

A much better organization is the Beaglers Alliance of North America.....

DarrinG,
I was kindof wondering about that, what exactly they were doing for folks other than in SC. It seems like their website just talks about that stuff and nothing else. Thanks for the info.
