What are the chances of scheduling a gun hunt before the season is over so a few from this board can get together? In around the Columbus, OH area. It is about three hours for me, but it would be fun, if we could find a good place for a day. I know a lot of people on here are from Indiana, Kentucky & Ohio {but not leaving anybody out}. I was thinking maybe a few could meet up on a Friday night and we could all meet and put some faces to the names on here and talk dogs. Then we could hunt all day Saturday. Any thoughts? Everybody could just bring one or two dogs, I would like to meet some more fellow beaglers and see everybody’s dogs under the gun.

Jim,
That sounds like a great idea even if we can't get it done this season. Keep me in mind.

Even if it wasn't a hunt..........could be just running. Had a fun run with some buddies in Ohio 1 year and here in Indiana the next year. Sounds fun.

Anyone have any good running areas near Dayton? That would be a good meeting point.

Boy I tell you Jim If I could get off work I'd be right on it maybe next year. I sure would like to see that Ozzie dog run and your Dingus hound.
I think this is something that could be done every year Maybe organize a beagle board hunt and cast some dogs just for bragging rights until somebody took it from the next guy the following year :D
Might take me a couple four or five years to earn some bragging rights though but it sure would be fun getting there
