Great Lakes Beagle Club, in Otisville Michigan will be having a Cottontail rabbit hunting tournament Saturday February 7th 2009. Teams can consist of yourself up to 6 People, with entry fee being $40.00 Pre entry starts January 24th.
Enter by phone, mail or enter day of hunt at GLBC starting at 7:00am to 8:00am. Enjoy a day of hunting with or without dogs. NO Hunting on Great Lakes Beagle Club Property Weigh in at Clubhouse 4:00pm to 5:00pm.
Deadline for weigh in will be 5:00pm, must be in parking lot. Each team can weigh up to 6 rabbits, best 4 will be entered. Top 3 team weights wins, split 50% of entry fee money- split 50,30,20 percent payback.
All game must be harvested day of Hunt and be thoroughly cleaned, heart,lungs, liver removed with the pelt still on. All game must go with you after weigh in. Teams must follow all Michigan game laws. The club will be putting on a dinner around 5:00pm
