Thanks.

I've been pretty proud of these fellas.

My best dog has been layed up with a cut pad for two weeks.

These guys have done a good job of stepping up.

Robert, those ARE some good looking hounds! Wish I had that kind of consistency in my kennel- they measure anywhere from 11 1/2" to 14" and from open marked to black & tan but they all run similar. How long have you been working with your line and do you make a conscious effort to breed for conformation and consistency?

Thanks

I have been at it for about 15 years.

I am hooked on the Striker Blood line wich usually throws big dogs so the size is pretty easy to get.

McCoy,
About how far are you from Lapeer? I moved up in the summer with family and hounds and haven't found any good running spots yet. Maybe we can hook up and run some. I don't care if I shoot or not; just need to hear some good races.

You have some good looking hounds they evidently know their business and look similiar in size to some of mine.

Post back if you want to put some time on the ground with some new hounds.

Hello Goose, the state game area at Lapeer has some pretty good hunting. I have done well there in the past, however there are dog thieves in the area, kind of a locals attitude thing. The game area is pretty big, but I have had good running almost anywhere that looked good. Good luck Bob

Robert you still running in all this snow? We have about 14" here between Lansing and Flint. Not much for running in that much snow.

Nice day's work! Pretty healthy looking rabbits too. I wish that I could keep my dogs out like that to get a picture, they would be wanting to eat up all the bunnies.
