I go to Mississippi each hunting season for a week to hunt them and usually have a blast. It usually takes our dogs a day to get used to running in the water and then they pound good for rest of the week.

I THINK THAT LOOKS LIKE SOMETHING THAT I WOULD GREATLY ENJOY. DO YOU HUNT A LARGE PACK? IS A SWAMPER SOMETHING THAT I COULD RUN WITH A PAIR WITH ANY SUCCESS. ALSO HAVE YOU EVER HUNTED IN THE CLARKS RIVER NWR? I HEAR THAT THE BENTON BOTTOMS PART HAVE THOSE SWIMMING BUNNIES.

We carry 6-8 dogs. But I know some guys from Missouri that hunt swampers with 3, and they kill alot of rabbits. I have hunted up around Benton but not sure if it was NWR.

None of them go to waste. There are several of us that hunt together and we all like to eat them. What we dont eat ourselves we give away.
