A general forum for the discussion of hunting with beagles, guns, clothing and other equipment and just talking dawgs! (Tall tales on hunting allowed, but remember, first liar doesn't stand a chance)
I normally wouldn't toot my own horn but I am very happy with my new Field Champion. Judy is a probally one of the finest gundogs I've ever owned. She not only went on to finish for her title as a Field Champion but she was also the best snow dog I've ever owned. When the tough days arrived last winter there was never a day she wouldn't run. I am very excited about breeding her now that she is finished and the only regrets I have with her is that I really never got the chance to enjoy her more on the field trial circuit due to she finished so fast in her first year of campaign. I will enjoy the most of her this hunting season. She is a dream to hunt with. I'd like to thank Joe Kuklenski for selling me this fine hound. She is out of (IFC Green Bay Shooter X Shoreacres Shakers Dinah)
Congrats on finishing Judy. Put me on the list for a pup out of her. I have a young female out of FC Green bay Sandi and Pages Sam that I'm looking forward to running with you guys in the NMHA in the future.
You did a terrific job getting your hound Judy, "Trial Ready." Judy was an extremely consistent, TRUE, 13" female.
As you mentioned, "Judy is a hound that will win trials (LP & SPO) and excell as a hunting dog. Judy is a perfect example of a complete package. Great hounds don't come around every year, enjoy her to the fullest.

Dear Mr. Martin(aka BuschBound),
Congratulations on finishing your fine hound, also your first field champion. Judy finished in her derby year, and I think she had her wins by the derby trial, half way thru the year......wow. Judy was very consistent and finished in very few trials, whether it was Large pack on snow, on sod, to SPO on Hare, very impressive. I expect an invitation to see this dog work on snow, hunting this winter.
What an impressive cross this has been. Fourth cross coming to a kennel near you, all spoken for for years.

LOL... Aaron. I plan on breeding Judy this winter to FC. Candy's Humpty Dumpty. Humpty is out of : NLPC FC. SR Donald Butch X FC. Whitney Creek Casey. Casey and Judy both are grandaughers to IFC Moulanson's Ranger Dan.
Here is a Pic of Humpty.
I beieve he won 5 to 6 trials this year in the N.M.H.A. this year and is the N.M.H.A. High Hound for 2008
Congrats......But couldnt you of found someone a little better looking to pose her???? All those purdy ribbons and trophies and then look at the guy thats got ahold of her! I guess thats why they invented PHOTO SHOP!
