Re: snake boots
I dont know about zipping....but I have worn both the Red Head and the Rocky snake boot. They are both about the same specs and almost knee high. I got struck by a snake once in Kentucky and never even knew it until the guy behind me said "that snake just bit at ya"

I've worn both Redhead and Rocky and both were good boots but I think the Rockies stay waterproof longer. I have some friends that wear the Pinnacle boot from Cabela's it has a zipper and they are well satisfied with them.
Re: snake boots
you guys think the muck boot might be snake proof they are pretty thick all the way up

I have Rocky and Redhead. The Redheads are more comfortable and they slide on easily.

We Hunt And Recommend Bluetick Beagles!!!

Thanks for the suggestions. I ordered the Cabela's pinnacle boot.I read some good reviews on their website, seems most brands aren't as waterproof as they are advertised.
