I have a female with a squall that sounds like she got shot or bit by a snake. I call it a "death squall".

Reading yall's post are making me jealous. I have three females and I love their speed, and hunt. I would like more line control, but I can't stand thier mouths. Excuse me, I should say I can't stand their lack of mouth. One of them is pretty decent. She sounds like something is biting her in the butt. The other two sound like birds.

I also have a young Bramlett/Bluebawls pup. I could listen to him all day. He sounds like he is in a fight! I can't wait until his little acorns drop and he starts to get some rankness to him  .
Nothing could be finer!

I like a fast chop mouth with there head down. all but one of my dogs have this style of bark but I also like a squall. I have a female that squalls like someone is skinning her alive. She should be getting bred in the next 5 or so days. I hope she puts her mouth in some of her pups.

i got three with different tongues, got a male thats got the classic hound mouth good tongue, but he will fire off sometimes way before he gets the rabbit up, he's cold nosed, but he finds the rabbit 98% of the time so I think I will keep him he's a trailing machine. The other male I got got that low brawl with a raspy tone, when he's looking at the rabbit he sounds like he's choking on it, then there my little girl with her chop tongue, and when she running she really knows how to talk to-em, My hunting buddy saids when ya hear her start to he-he cock your gun. But my hunting buddy got this little hound mini-mae she has the loudes and stranges tongue I have ever hear, at times when she getting close to a rabbit she sounds like a rooster( no kidding) and when she is running she squawls like know other hound I have ever hear but you can hear her for two country miles. She is 220 volts for sure. When they all get together its music in the south.

I like a big chop mouth dog. The louder and faster the chop, the better. I have grown to like a squall mouth as my angel dog has a very distinct squall mouth that will make the hair on the back of your neck stand up . If you didn't see her you would swear she was a big male dog. kind of a haaaaarp haaaaaarp. It sounds real good when she comes out of check with it.

Matt Wazny used to have a bluetick male that had a chop mouth that kinda sounded like he was saying "heck, heck, heck, heck...." say that as fast as you can, thats how his hound sounded...never heard one like it before or since...

The second amendment protects us from implementing "I think"

I like a loud bawl or squall claiming a check, but a nice chop when driving Mr. Bunny.
