During the hunting season I sometimes hunt mine all day Friday all day Saturday and after church on Sunday until dark and they are still ready to go Monday if I wanted to go but the week between Christmas and New Year we go down to Mississippi to hunt swamp rabbits each year and after five straight days of running those swampers it usually takes about three or four days for a full recovery and for me also.

Ours are run usually 2 -3 times during the week in the evenings and all day on Saturdays and Sundays. With 15 dogs, we can generally swap dogs in and out as they are getting wore down. In most cases, we run 10 dogs when hunting but about 5 -6 during the week. This allows us to focus on individual dogs and their specific progress in certain areas during the week. Hope this helps.
