Red tick medium speed dogs

Post by Deer_Slayer »

I'm looking to get a new pup in about 6-7 months, so I figure I should start doing my homework now. This way I might have a chance to see the parents run before I pick out the pup. I'm looking for a medium speed red tick or red and white, which is around 12" tall or shorter. I have thought about getting involved in field trialing, but it is a distant second. I really just want a dog I can take out hunting all day and put rabbits in the freezer. I would also like to stay within the Midwest region(KS, OK, MO, IN, IL, OH, KY).

Does anyone know who I should talk to in order to get the characteristics I want?

Thanks for the help.
