Maybe "Everyone" should check the sticky box when posting :-) Would stop all those that think "THEIR" post are soooo *#*# important.

I suppose I can control it if I disallow the feature or choose to spoon-feed a bunch of adults. The sticky feature can be removed by the original poster by simply going to the original message, clicking on "edit", scroll down to the bottom, take it off of "sticky" and check "normal" then "submit". They post will fall down to the date it was last posted to.

Does everyobody want me to clean the board of stickies today or shall we give the original posters a chance to figure it out?

Who gets to remove the stickys? Do they come with a "remove after certain date"?

unless its a stolen dog or a last minute hunt change, there isnt much that needs to stay at the top. get rid of them and if they're that important, let the poster redo them.

Clean the board of stickies today and remove the option all together is my vote. If such post is an emegency of some sorts, judge change/trial cancellation/etc. the poster can always reply to his/her own post to bump it back towards the top.

Happy Thanksgiving to each and everyone...

I concur...trash the "stickys".

Like Brain said, if it's really important, the original poster can bump the post back to the top occasionally. Simple enough?

The day the sticky's are gone is the day I will celebrate!! I hate them da** things!
I can see the good in them for maybe a few things but I think its a bunch of BS putting them on the trading post.
I say get rid of the sticky's and if there is something important that someone thinks needs to be a sticky then they could send Bev a email and she could make it a sticky.

I usually check the board often enough not to have to go past the first page, so nope, I don't really like have the screen being stickys of stuff I've already read. Important stuff, like a stolen dog or something else might warrant a sticky, but otherwise I think they should be used less often.
