I have a rising sun female and I had her out tonight and she ran a big woods rabbit for over 90 minutes and I finaly had to pick her up because it was time to go. No telling how much longer it would have ran but she would have been right there till the end. I didnt have a gun with me before you ask "why didnt you shoot it LOL " I was just getting her out for a while.

My Dolly bitch is a granddaughter of Cress' Comanche Tracker (out of Red Man). I believe that's what put the fire in her. Goose Creek Sam on the top side put the line in, and the Cress's stuff put the foot and fire in. I heard Hank Hinkle say one time that he had run Red Man for Don for a while, and that Red Man was one of the finest dogs to ever wear one of his collars.

Yes, that been going on for almost a decade with Don. Damron got out of beagles, and you can go to squirrel dog central to find him ; his kennel is under tuff-e-nuff. I think his first name his Silas; he doesnt have any of his old blood around anymore, but you could ask him some questions.

best beagle dog I ever had was out of Redman
What dog was that , Comanche Tracker?

And Damrons Half track, Silas told me the story once but I forgot it. :???:

I like the Redman stuff myself. Along with Floyd Adams --Red River-- stuff. I have had them since late 80's til present and still believe in them for gun hunting. I don't trial anymore.

The best hound I've ever owned came from Floyd Adams. I havn't heard that name in Years. I've got a male that is from Floyds stuff crossed with McCutchens stuff, I'm not going to say he's the best but he sure makes me happy. cpc Do you still have any of Floyds stuff?

Here is a 6 month old pup with risin suns valiant knight as the sir and my redman bitch as the dame. He jumped his first rabbit this morning and run it about 60 yards before the older dogs took it and circled it to be killed. I really haven't tried to start him yet but he seems to be doing good on his own.

I like a little more white on them but we'll see how he turns out.

This is my ole male.....he goes back to redman. He will be 9 yrs in July, but can still jump and hammer a bunch of rabbits. He is AKC DNA-P, UKC, and NKC registered. He is a LP R CH and B CH in NKC. He has tons of hunt is the best jumpdog I have ever owned. He has a bawl mouth and uses it right. When I first got him he had real good speed but is slowing a little in his old age. Had to brag a bit on ole Fred !!!!
