Maple Valley Kennels, I'm not trying to debate, I'm trying to understand what you're saying. First you came to BJK's defense for bashing America and you add how bad you think it is, then you turn around and say Kentucky, which is in America, is the best place there is and now you've just turned around and say how you've got major problems in Kentucky. I just can't figure out where you stand on any of this.
Is this the best country in the world or is it in pretty bad shape?

When the moment of truth arrives, the point of preparation has passed.

The most disgusting thing I have had to do lately was go for jury duty. They make you put your hand on the Bible, raise your other hand and swear to God to tell the truth. Then, how much truth is told? The truth is, the lawyers are like a bunch of vultures hoping to pick someone's bones clean while they have their a$$ in a bad jam, and will tell any kind of lie to do it. The defendants will tell any kind of lie to get off. They usually do, or if convicted they are turned loose to do it again. Why? well hell, the jails are already full. No we don't really have a system of justice so you better protect yourselves because the cops and the judges sure as hell can't help you.PABeagler wrote:I think that the USA should eliminate all law enforcement people and the judicial system...it is a waste of taxpayer money...

There is a town not too far from me called Crooksville, Ohio (no pun intended) where several of the law enforcment officers were caught in a narcotics ring. Yes, we have a corrupt system at times or in certain corners but if you think this is bad don't ever go to Mexico, especially if you can't handle your alcohol. While in the Navy, I had to pay the cops off on the streets to get my drunk buddy out of a jam. Instant justice. btw, their cops are thugs walking around the streets with AK-47's in their hands and they will drop you in a second with no regard. They target anyone where they can intimidate and collect cash to put in their pockets. Seen this everytime I visited Mexico and I am sure it is the same in other countries.
In short, the USA isn't perfect but it is still one of the best system out there. There are many honest citizens, elected officials and law enforecment but there is also pockets of corruption.

BJK, I usualy agree with most of what you write but you are wrong this time. I took it as a slam, and I aint no crook. This pretty much sums up how I feel about all you people that like to run down America...

wvduece, I wouldn't do it for you cause I don't know you but there are a few I would do it for and if they didn't pay me then I would ask them what was going on and if they couldn't pay me then I would let them keep the dog as a gift.
I know the dog would be well cared for and I know they would pay me if they could so it isn't worth a friendship. If I couldn't get by without the dog or the money then I wouldn't have agreed to it in the first place. If I can't afford to give it, then I won't loan it to a friend.

I will trust your word is good until you prove otherwise. I have sold lots of dogs on the promise I would be paid later. Have been burned a few times but also made some good friends. The good has far outweighed the bad.
One time an old boy from Indianna heard I had a good coon dog for sale. He drove clear up here to try it out. Sure enough, it turned out to be one of those nights, the dog looked like s**t. I told him if he was still interested to take the dog and either send me a check or send me the dog back. He left me a check and asked me to hang on to it a week until he could hunt the dog some. The dog turned out to be one of the best he ever owned and he turned out to be one of the best friends I ever had.
