If you want some great hunting head to Patten, ME. As far as a place to stay Shin Pond Village is hard to beat. They are great people, have fair prices, and really go the extra mile to make you feel welcome. You can start hunting right from out back of your camp the population was great last year. If you decide to go to Shin Pond Village they do have a website with prices just do a Yahoo search for Shin Pond Village and you can check it out.
