I agree with the E-collar idea. I started my two year old last season, and he worked great. He still likes to chase some trash, but that E-collar fixes those ideas real quick. Don't let anyone tell you that you can't start a two year old. Just keep in mind that you will need a lot of patience. good luck!

tiffinis, It's for a freind of mine who was impressed with the units we use. I just talked to him. He might PM you soon but he just told me he was really looking for a 4 dog unit. I told him he could buy yours and buy a bran new Dogtra 1802 from Americanpetstore.com and still save some money compared to buying all bran new Dogtra 1804. He would then have 4 collars with 2 transmitters.
I'VE GOT SOME DOGS THAT ARE GONNA HURT SOME FEELINGS!!!!! I just hope it's not mine. Home of Wild Hare Kennels and FC Creek Woods Blue.

I have trained Beagles since I was 12 years old and dont know how I ever did so without a Tri-Tronics Beagler. Handy as a pocket on a shirt.

I love my dogtra 3 dog unit wouldn't use anything else. I am an electrician and doing a check of voltage & milliamps both units were the same and with a $130 differance in price I'll stay with dogtra.
