Modern Day Yellow Creek

Read an interesting article in BB. Was wondering who picked up the Yellow Creek line? I know Yellowcreek is in just about everyones pedigrees back but the Modern Day dogs is what im curious about.

Hmmm. I talked to this guy about 5 yrs ago on the phone; the one that bought it out. I think he is 20 or so miles north of Somerset, KY. I think the property has 2 running pens on. My buddy has 1/2 yellow creek female , her dam is all yellow creek , sire was Powells turbo dog.

They are medium speed hounds, more line control hounds kinda like mabye UBGF type. ; we talked hounds for quite awhile : I was thinking of crossing the female , back into his line, is why I tracked him down. I think his name is Bob Brown .


FYI; this female has been bred to Blackdirt Mikey ; if a gun hunter wants a pup on the cheap PM me or Paz- whelp July 17th

Bob Brwon was his name, i think they even had a website. not sure of the site name. But anyway i called him to start some pups about 2 yrs ago and i think they told me he had passed away. Not sure who owns the line now.

Bob Brown Owned Yellow Creek he has passed away (3 or 4 years ago)He was a member of Lake City Beagle Club I asked the same question the other day and was told his wife had sold his hounds

got aquestion about the Yellow Creek dogs ,I owned a little 13 inch female abut 10 years ago that had an odd coloration about her .she was black tan and white but the tan was about the color of sand and covered her head and was below the black blanket and on her legs with white feet anybody else seen this color on the yellow creek dogs, or was this just unusual as I know there are lots of variables in determining color,but I have yet to see another like colored dog out there ,if any one owns one I'd like to see some pics,denny
