Any one of the wildlife units are very good, you would be extremely happy with any of them. They are very user friendly, The sensitivity is by far the best i have found out of all the tracking units. The only downfall is the size they are somewhat cumbersom to carry while you are hunting. I have the TRX 1000 and i carry it with me in a fannypack i made and i also carry the antenna on my back with a pack i made as well. I have been doing this for about 15 years. I think you would like it.

I have a trx10 with a mini 2 antenna mounted on it, fits in a case that I put on my belt. Makes it nice in the field. Wildlife is the way to go.JMO
