blue studs in ohio reggie vs jasper who is the best stud]
Moderators: Pike Ridge Beagles, Aaron Bartlett
Guys,
If you read my post about my Jasper male already you need to read it again. I made a correction on my post in the trial part, thanks Tony! There I go again giving only credit to the sire side and I should never do that; his bottom doesn't hurt him either: out of Dingus Macrae X Blue Ninja blood.
James, sounds like you have a good opinion to me, Reggie, Jasper, and Junie I haven't seen run but know several have said are very nice, I seen Rocky run at 05 world two times and he did a good job there. dboman

blue
who cares what junie is out of this post is a comparison of jasper and reggie sounds as if he had help winning anyhow. i hope this is not case because he does sound a nice hound my best advice to you would be not to forget about the nice male you have in your own kennel or maybe down the road so many times these world champions don,t throw as good of pups as what you already might have, you feed them for a reason titles mean very little unless you want to sell the extra pups.
Rugens Beagles,
Doesn't sound like you have a problem with Sanfordssj asking who Junie is out of and it being off subject because you are just as guilty in a post the other day on "Extreme hunt and search" look it up, you went into having a problem with Dugan and his stud fee and had nothing to do with extreme hunt and search!!! You were off subject too! Sounds like your problem is JUNIE dog. So, if you can drop in and be off subject in another post can Sanfordssj be off subject too and also can I be off subject and give a guy what I think is an honest answer? Let's be fair about it. What about the other guys on here that said something off the subject???

Re: blue
Junie is producing his likeness in offspring. Aggresive hunting not bird doggy. Has Xtreme squal mouth. I would invite anyone to come and see what he has . As far as reggie and jasper are concerned. I am not up on eiether. But assuming both have accomplished tons. When junie was bred , it was for the purpose of being a reproducer. Not just a trial hound.rugens beagles wrote:who cares what junie is out of this post is a comparison of jasper and reggie sounds as if he had help winning anyhow. i hope this is not case because he does sound a nice hound my best advice to you would be not to forget about the nice male you have in your own kennel or maybe down the road so many times these world champions don,t throw as good of pups as what you already might have, you feed them for a reason titles mean very little unless you want to sell the extra pups.
Fortuanely for me i own him. If i can be of any assistance in any way and answer any questions please fill free to call me. This is also the oppurtunity to let all know, I aint breeding every bitch that comes my way .I dont need the money and hate tirekickers. I bred for me and thats it. I would offer this come and see what i got because titles mean little to me also.As far as help winning? I dont need help , i just need judges that know dogs. It appears to me , The Beagle Gods Finally Smiled on me.I could care squat what state they are from. If they know dogs

I didn't come in off subject Rugens beagles. On the bottom of page one, James Blevins mentioned Junie in the same sentence as Reggie and Jasper. Without knowing anything about Junie I wanted to know if he was Turbo bred as well. I own a LP Champ male out of Prop which makes him half brother to both Reggie and Jasper. I also own a little female out of Reggie and a nice 3 year old out of Turbo Powered By Turbo.
I'm one of those guys who is stuck on Turbo's, and now I’m looking at several outcrosses. I have not seen anything out of Jasper or Reggie yet that I would say is good because I have not seen any dogs old enough to really have an opinion, but I do pay attention to any post that any of the turbo males are mentioned in.
My name is Sanfordssj and I’m a Turbo-holic!

i like the post earlier that suggested breeding to a male in your own kennel, wish i had listened to the people who told me that i should have bred to dozer instead of breeding to whoever is throwing the hottest selling pups, not dogging any male mentioned,if you like what your dog is doing dont pass up the chance to breed, you may not get that chance again.
i have learned more in the last month about beagling and friends than i ever have, makes me rethink a lot of things.

My brother owned double d's blue angel. We have owned blue man in the past. I watched jasper destroy a cast in the 2nd round of the world. I have ran against reggie. Also, I am the biggest Turbo fan there is. Jasper throws pups that just have it. We bred Jasper to angel and the cross was one of the best I have seen. No matter what cross you make, IF YOU PRESSURE A TURBO DOG TO YOUNG YOU WILL BLOW HIM UP! They have extreme hunt, desire, heart, and foot. They are very, very competitive. If you give a turbo dog lots of solo time until they are at least 15 months to 20 months they will dominate. If you give them to much pressure, they will still turn out ok, but with a lot of faults. If I was you I would go with JASPER if you run arha or UKC. If you run AKC I would go with Reggie! Why? Reggie has finished in AKC so quick, he made a huge name for his self. He is a great dog! I think Jasper throws better pup in my opinion! As soon as I find out who owns Jasper, I will be bringing two high powered females to breed to him. If you don't care to much on size, Louis's Blue Man(tony uptons dog) is a great sire.
