Tracker Radio Units

Post by Hare Hawk »

Hey everyone I thought that I would pass this information along. Several weeks ago Tracker Radio was selling refurbished units on Ebay. They came with a limited waranty and were directly from the Tracker factory. I tryed to bid on several of these sets and lost. These classic units were typically going for around $500.00 on ebay which isn't that great a savings considering you could buy them new for $600.00. Well I contacted tracker directly to see if they would be selling anymore refurbished units with the supra lite collars and they said that they will be but only when the waiting list is filled.

Here's the good news. You can call tracker or email them and they will put you on the waiting list for refurbished units. It only took about a week to get mine and I got a refurbished tracker classic with 2 new supra lite collars for $425.00. That's cheaper then they have been going for when they are listed on ebay and you are getting a virtually new unit for a $175.00 cheaper than a brand new one. Below is the email that I received from tracker along with the phone number to get on the waiting list if anyone is interested.

Email:
The refurbished Maximas we sell as 5000/25s and the price is $650. We sell the Classic for $299 and you would have to buy the Classic with one or two collars (depending on how many dogs you need to track). The used collars with the receiver would be $50 for the first one and $75-$115 for the second one and for new collars, it would be $50 for the first one and $125-$185 for the second one, depending on which type of collar you wanted. If you would like me to add you to our list, just let me know which type of receiver you would be interested in and we will give you a call as soon as we have one for you.

Don't get the supra lite collars ,they are junk! I like the receivers. Wildlife 3850's are the way to go with the maxima 5000/25.
