Purina

Post by JUDE »

I feed Purina Dog Chow for the 1 yr up hounds
except for the Golden Retriever she is probably
younger and I feed her Dog Chow she does very
well on it . I feed Purina Puppy Chow for the hounds
less than one year old . I have considered the switch
to Dog Chow for them after 6 mos of age but my vet
recommended stayin with Puppy Chow until 1 year .
My dogs seem to look good to me but what do I know
anyway :???: I'm sticking with Purina as long as it
keeps workin ;)

You get rebates and other goodies by joining through
the Purina website and saving the points off your purina
bags .

Ronnie, how long they been on Pro Plan? How much you pay for that stuff? Black Gold 26/18 (black bag) 50 lbs. is $16 here.

Have fed Pro Plan for over 10 YR and never had a dog have any thing like what you are talking about. Usualy clean up is guiet easy because high digestibilty make smaller dark stools. You also can cut the amount you feed because of the quality. I have seen what you discribe on dogs eating Purina Hy Pro

well im a big purina fan. I feed the dog chow alot during the summer and i like the results for the dogs not geting ran as much. i don't care at all for the hi pro and the purina one and pro plan is good but a bit pricey so i use the 26/18 pride thrugh hunting season and if im hunting my dogs hard ive raised pups and everything on it and they do great and i buyit in bulk for $14.50 a bag so it don't break the bank i feed 8 dogs 50lbs every 3 weeks check there site out http://www.thepridedogfood.com the ingriedents are good for the price alot of meat protein and no so much grian stuff.

Ronnie - give me a call, I can put you in contact w/ a guy who lives in Spotslyvania that sells Black Gold. He works in Woodbridge and I've started getting BG from him instead of the feed/supply place off Rt. 17.
