You wait until the weather clears and then go! :)

You should go buy yourself an INTERNET WORLDBEATER. You know the ones people on here have that always account for every rabbit. Then your pup could always have something to run.

rabbits have to eat sometime. if you can do it, run him at night. get a coon hunters light and follow your dog. as cold as it is they have to come out to eat.take the dog by itself. if it cant smell a good track there is not much you can do. its your only other choice when they are burrowed in the daylight. goodluck..

get the dog out and make it jump a rabbit,i ran all day long yesterday, the way i see it is i like to run my dogs in as tough and extreme conditions as possible to toughen them up,when it is cold like this it is tough on their body though so i will run a couple dogs for two or three hrs. then get a couple more and so on.

Just because you don't see signs don't meen there not there. If your dog does not get under all the brush and snow you won't jump them. It's -1 here with about 16" of snow, plenty of hiding places. Watched my dogs go under piles for what seemed like 5 minutes and I'm saying common lets go. All of a sudden, out pops the rabbit. You won't find them in weather like this if your dogs won't dig in.
