Can't wait to get our pups together at Richardson Rd. this spring. Nice looking dog! Rod's Blueback gyp looks nice too.

edit: We hunt'n this weekend or can you handle the hills down my way. You flatlanders from Columbus need the exercise. ;)

I love blueback hounds.Your right about one thing they sure do carry alot looks in there traits.I only have two dogs now and one is BlueBelly bred to a IFC.Doylands Jimmy female, and the other is out of BlueBelly and a female that was outstanding, from the way it looks they will be the only two I will need for a long time, the oldest is only 8 months old and is nothing short of awsome.Look out boys I will be back to put a spankin on ya in about another year!!!lol!!
good dogs run on good days, great dogs run when u take them out

That dog must have been something. I know for 7 months old this female on the snow was picking up checks and doing a good job. In the morning she was running with a will seasoned male that did not give her much of a chance. She did get a couple of checks but was running with them.

The last rabbit of the day it was just her and my 3 year old female and this pup picked up half the checks and cold, snow was not any problem for this pup. Believe me she has a long ways to go however; like Greg told me I have shot rabbits over her.

That's why it is a training pen. no better place to get your pup started then a field full of rabbit's i don't like to walk a country mile when im training my pup's. plus its like 3 min from my house don't get know better than that.

Rod all I saw is more time in the field, with not so much pressure and a little solo time. This little female will be able to hold her own. This is not a real good time to run pups, but this is a time to see if they can run a track in the snow. Just be paitaint, she will make a good little hound.
To old to cut the mustard, you can always run beagles
