TO Bev on the July issue

Post by AlabamaSwamper »

Hey Bev, I really like the article on Trimmer this month. I have never owned a dog with his blood but I have heard great things about him and his offspring. I like to read about dogs of his caliber and the story behind them and was wondering if you plan to put something like that into future issues. You may do this every month and I just look over them but it was interesting to read.
"No stronger bond exist than that between a man and his dog."

I'm glad you enjoyed the Trimmer story. I have done them off and on all along, and I do plan to continue featuring hounds whenever I can, and whenever the material comes in, but I can't promise a dog every month - the info just doesn't come in that timely. What I thought was so special and unique about the Trimmer story was that it was the words of the people who were first-hand witness to his talent. As you can see, most of the accounts were unedited personal correspondence (used with with permission of course). What a fresh, "birds-eye view" huh?

Darrin, oh no!!! If you think your magazine has met an ill fate, let me know. It has run about 3 days later this month (consistently) all over. :(
