Good snow dogs check the tracks they see, watch them look at tracks then put their nose in it. If its an old track they'll just move on and check the others until they get that smell their looking for.

As it has been said EXPERIENCE on snow makes snow dogs. Some are more adaptable then others. Take a group of kids ice skating. They can all run around just fine but put them on skates and it won't be pretty for a while.

Brad and Timber both made some very good points.

NW, I wouldn't be much good for them trials. I've been known to get in trouble for in-correct use of mouth.
