I haven't posted anything in some time. Hope this finds everyone well. Here is a pup that has been making me smile so far. His sire is Speedy Sport. He stands about 14 1/2 right now. He is coming on seven months old. I couldn't resist putting his picture on here. Hope to see some of you soon in a brairpatch near you. Thanks Mike for the pup.
Nice looking dog. Glad you like him.
I had my female out for about 30 minutes out back today after work. She had a rabbit up in no time and ran it the ground in about 10 minutes. If I had a shotgun it would have been stew.
you were right jason after seeing this male i had to wipe my face off from the slobber.makes me want to start over with all new blood lines lol should make one nice hound call me this weekend
Thanks for all of the compliments. RNeil, you have a littermate to mine. Earl, sorry I didn't call you this weekend. I didn't see your post until Monday morning. All of the other Speedy Sport dogs from this post are nice looking hounds. Here is another pic of my male.
I have really started working with mine this weekend. I really like what I see. I plan on running him three nights a week and a couple of times this weekend. We ran across a deer yesterday and he looked at it then put his head down and kept on hunting. I was happy about that. He also handles well and is great in the kennel.
We will have to run them together sometime
If all goes well I will have some of that blood in my line by next summer. Excellent looking dogs and great running dogs, indeed. I am truely impressed with these dogs.
