Correct. I put the dial on T, and press the green, yellow, or orange button and the collar beeps.

I take it that it doesn't work on 1-6? Sorry for the misinformation. I was going off of my 3 dog 90 and pro 500.

If you have the classic 70 g-2 then yes all you have to do is put the transmitter on t and then hit one of the colors and it will tone the corresponding collar. This unit is what I have and I love it.Mines the 3 dog set.

I also have the new G2 3 dog unit and it works great. The T for tone works great as well, I hardly ever have to shock anymore just tone them. The only thing i want to know is the (A) setting and what it is going to be used for?

The A setting is for Audio, it's for some transmitters/receivers that don't have the tone or beeper mode. Tri-tronics made a basic switch to fit several models.

I know what all the buttons on my classic 70 are for and how to use them except the small black button on the rear of the transmitter. Maybe it's used by TT personnel to reset the transmitter/collars??? Didn't think I'd have such a hard time finding this one out :)
