Pup stung

I took my 4 month old pup out today with my friends dog and they were doing great my pup was opening up tracking it far and an all around good day but he poked his head in a tree and got stung by a hornet and his left side of his mouth is puffy and if i touch it he starts to cry should i be worried

GIVE HIM A COUPLE (2) CC'S OF BENADRYL, AND 1/2 AN ASPRIN FOR THE PAIN, A DAY OR SO REST AND SHOULD BE JUST FINE.

I use children motren for pain (liquid) use directions on the back of the bottle for amount.

i think ill leave it alone because it got alot smaller and he doesnt care if i touch it aymore

be careful if you use motrin ,it can cause a few problems if you use too much. Merck manual states 5mg/kilo for short periods. (kilo 2.2 pounds)
