Snake bites

Post by tommyg »

I was at a Trial last weekend and a Hound got Copperhead bit. I use Childrens Bynadril when a Hound gets bit. I want to know what is the best remedy for Snake bites to keep with you.

A freind of mine had one bit in his enclosure that left two huge gaping fang marks and swelled up so severly he nearly died from not being able to eat or drink... The above remedy worked for this hound also...2 Tablespoons in a syring to get it in his mouth... The same guy also had a copperhead climb up in an off the ground kennel to get at some 3 week old pups but the mother fought it off and took two bad bites in the process..We are located in Maryland
