Blackdirt, I don't think my stories are way off at all. I am sure I could look through Bev and Chris's archives and bring up your posts ;)
You know my name and E-mail address. If you want my phone # just send me a note and ask like everyone else does
I haven't read the other post about using a young stud, I will read it over. If I find it to be a person who has his own line of naturally trash proof hounds and wants to outcross to a hound that is barley started or has in the past bashed other peoples choice of studs , I will be sure to comment ;)
Also if this $1800 dog was so terrible, why didn't it get sent back?

jimmie - what "trialer website" do i hang out on? as for my trialing status, i got a club meeting on the 17th. i imagine we are going to have a couple hunts later this fall after we get thru the hot weather. i'll be there with my dogs... how about the rest of you followers? oh, it is an arha LP club. you seem a bit mixed up also because as i look out into my pen, all i see is 5 akc registered dogs. i do own one arha female but she is at the starting pen right now. papers dont run a rabbit but i rarely keep grade dogs.

farwest - if you need to contact me, shoot me an email or give me a call. im not gonna go back and forth here so you can hide online.

blackdirt beagles wrote:as usual FARWEST, your way off on your stories  and just follow me around to bash me. thats why you got booted on the other boards. i got a question for you though... hows come you never give out your name or phone # so people can call you? its easy to hide online isnt it? you can hassle anyone you want and not have to be responsible for anything you say. i dont have a problem with you hassling me, just be big enough to sign your real name. i think maybe as much as you hassle me, you might be the one with the jealously trouble. i dont have time or the desire to go thru your whole post and correct it, but yes i have ran with 4 (at least) dogs directly from branko and 2 id call decent dogs, 1 was just a started dog so you cant really grade it and the other was a swinging mouthy deer runner who was a cull by anyones standards but branko still made $1800 off of him  . and as for me running dogs, im sure i dont do that as much as you  but i get out this time of year 2 - 3 times a week and in the winter months when im slow at work, i'll go 5 or 6 days a week depending on family commitments.
i see there is another post about using a young stud... you better hop over and start your bashing or is it only wrong if i want to do that??

as for tommyg- you got anything useful to say or are you just another follower like farwest? what a joke  .
No not a follower, just another person thats figured out your game. Bash a Branko and a wantabe control freak. Like Jammie said---LOSER. ;)

Sorry also Bev just tired of the BROKEN RECORD. I will be nice.

GOOD JOB keith2210!!! Maybe you and I can get this to 10 pages in a hurry!!! Somebody needs to check him out. I think 84 is shy of a wad though. Isn't a wad at least 100 plus?

Hey tommyg. Use :loser: for "loser" next time, K?

Branko has had a phenominal influence that will probably never be matched. 100 yrs from know people will research pedigrees and wonder who this man was. I say good job, it is a feat that will probably never be duplicated.

But with saying that after researching pedigrees for years know i often wonder if it is a good thing when one person or kennel can have the influence he has had over the long haul. There are very few pedigrees of big named hounds of northern bloodlines that dont have some Branko influence. Makes me wonder if anyone in the last twenty years bred hounds or did everyone just line up like ducks and follow the beaten path that Branko blazed.

hey, he started it! ;)

Good post MasonsBeagles. I do think there are still enough breeders, that don't like the Branko style hound, that are breeding good hounds. Also there are a lot of hounds on the ground now with Branko so far back I doubt they are influenced by it.

blackdirt, I really can't see me wanting to contact you.
If I had any questions I would ask jovanjgboy197 :P

Very good post...................I would agree with the statment of following "The path that Branko blazed" ( and a heck of a path it was). And like ya said "good job, it is a feat that will probably never be duplicated."

I am not that old, but I have seen sports figures set the stage for the future and are immortalized. Like them or not.

Why not Branko? He has put the better part of his life into our sport and face it he has built a winner as far as kennels go.
