Red Man vs Patch

Post by ycedy »

Today Chris H. of Bayou City Beagles and I decided to run. it was 55degrees a little cold for Houston this time of year. Who would strike first patch are the Red dogs? Well Chris" GRCH Bud struck and all the dogs joined in. This was at 7:15 red dogs then patch then red then patch would have the lead. This went on over two hours. We alwas hunt together but today, no guns only the work of lighting fast hounds. They ran him out of hearing a number of times. Today was also different Chris bought Ru. This dog has the mouth of a coon hound and can cover the pack when he barks. We ran non stop til 11:30. Well I can see why No $ could move this dog. Well Chris same place same time Saturday. I think the Patch will get the first jump. Chris with your dogs being so consistant you may want to up you stud fee.
Keep em on Swampers

Do yall hunt year round too, because isn't the season open year round there in Texas? My parents live between Houston and Katy, off Barker Cypress. They do not hunt. We have wanted to do some running down there but don't know anyone there to run with.

Yes the season is open all year round but we only hunt from the first autumn cold spell untill early march. We run year round even in the heat of July but usually in the early dark till sunrise.

Did Chris run Pebbles. She is a tough little female. I handled her at the world hunt for Chris.
