How hard is it to find pups straight out of T-Rex. I am looking for a male directly out of him. I would rather have a pup that I could start myself. If anybody can help let me know. I would like to have a bluetick male pup directly out of T-Rex or T-rex in the 2nd generation.

Good choice, but good luck.

T- rex left this old cruel world last year. The best shot you got is a half mate breeding, or you could try sweet talking Whayne Gross. He owned Rex and would be your best place to start. You could also try Mike Crabtree he has a Spur bitch bred to X-dawgs 3/4 T-Rex male. Has been good blood when mixed( T-rex X Spur bitches). Ask Rufus Stewart, Jimmy Abshire, or Will Mason they have owned alot of hounds with this same mix. I wish you well. :D

Hatfeild,

I saw on the trading post about 1 or 2 months ago a 5 month old T-Rex male. That was a good looking pup. I sure missed out on him. I wish I would have seen in a week or two earlier. Thanks for the info.

What size was T-Rex because I would rather have a hound no bigger than 14 inches.

Rex Male

Post by grosswdg »

I am thinking of letting two male pups go that was mates to the one you seen but one is tri-color and maybe one male that is a few months older.Just got to make my mind up to let go.I have to many to feed and some will have to go and can't run them old to give justice.I'll post them when I make my mind up which ones to let go.
Thanks for the interest:Wayne D Gross

I own a male bluetick and a ticked tri female out of T-Rex. I got these two hounds from Mike Crabtree. At ten months old, they can and will run with anyones pack and for the biggest part will run the front. I'm going to trial the male this weekend for the first time. He's ready so I look for good results. I have owned the male since a pup and the female is coming along real well. These dogs have hunt................................
