This sure went wrong quickly. Leave it to us beaglers to make a mountain out of a molehill. Had I known anyone was going to get their feathers ruffled over what I posted, I'd refrained. Oh well...

Good running err racing to y'all... :)

Fuzz, sorry if I derailed your post, that wasnt my intention, thats why I left out the punchline. I just saw all them Jeffy Gordon jokes and thought it was the place for Nascar jokes......some people sure are sensitive though...........glad I didnt tell them what my T shirt from the Brickyard says

Randy,

No harm, no foul... What's the weather like in Danville? I'm thinking about coming up for Central Indiana's PP trial this weekend.

Thanks,
Jamie

Not sure but I think most of us can take the joking. If everyone liked the same things we would all be bored. At work we all joke and razz each other about their favorite driver. Any way sorry if I ruffled any feathers as that was not my intention.
Fuzz, was that you I saw at the derby trial last Saturday?

Hey Fuzz....Weather is suppose to be fairly nice Saturday, small chance of scattered light rain....but should be good running. I ran tonight and had one chase lasted about an hour before it took cover....others jumped and went right to cover. Should be a good hunt.....just in case you didnt know, its only a 1 day hunt because of Easter.
Hope you get to make it and I look forward to seeing you! Take care.

Joakes,

Depends on what you saw. If you mean South Kentucky's derby, yeah you probably saw me. I was the burr headed guy taking entries.

Randy,
Look forward to coming up if I don't change my mind at the last minute.

Fuzz it was the South Kentucky Derby trial I was talking about. I have only been to a few trials. A friend and I had ran our hounds early that day here at home and we had seen that you posted about having a derby trial. We made it there in time to see the last pack run and then came to see the winners anounced. Man those hounds fly. We heard a few of the competitor's comments on the way back out of the field. They were talking about what a fair judging that you all had and one man had said which hound should get first. Well it was the same hound that won. So it seems that you all have a good club and picked good judges. Waiting for the next local trial. Jeff Oakes

Junior is a joke and is a dirty racer. If not for his father (who was my favorite) he would still be on dirt tracks in pintos. He is dangerous and should be banned from racing forever. His pass was illegal and he rammed others to get the lead and that is dirty, not racing.

Yall know I am just messing with you. I was going to wait on some replies but I dont think bev would want some of those on here. I tell that to a girl every sunday at a store above my house. She always has her Junior shirt on and it makes her really, really mad.

Jeff,

Thanks for the compliments. We at South Kentucky try to do our best to do things honestly and treat all our competitors with respect. We'd love to have you and your friend be a part of the fun next go around. Feel free to bring some hounds and compete. You may wish to visit http://www.mid-west-gundog.com That's the official website for our association, the Mid-West Beagle Gundog Association. I'm the webmaster over there and usually try to keep all the dates of our events posted.

Where bouts in Kentucky do you live?

Thanks...

I live in Estill County. About 20 minutes from Berea WMA.
After having a male out of Mark iv's ace in the hole stolen from my kennel, I sold and gave everything away. I have just got "beagle fever" again recently. I have an 11 mth old male out of Del Ray Stubby and Weircreek. I just today bought a 9 week old pup with Indian Hills Major top and bottom. Poor little older man wanted to keep his dogs but his wife is making him sell them all. Kennels and all. I would like to trial in the future. My 11 yr old son is hooked too. Thanks Fuzz and hope to see you at a trial. Jeff
