What line has the biggest nose with a correct mouth???
Looking for info on lines with a big nose & brains to go with it. Or maybe a dog that people have seen with a big nose. Also availble stud dogs with a big nose, must have brains also. Thanks J

Smitty,
Don't bother with the Mississippi stuff, as mentioned above. They're just not deep snow, 30 below type dogs. Good dogs though. Rob McCoy's is the only one with a snow nose that i've seen.
Come on up, i'll give you a 14 day money back guarantee on an 18 month male or female. Great snow noses!
Ran with Eli Yoder yesterday (saturday) in Clare.
He liked my female alot. Mother of the pups.
If my dogs jump a rabbit on snow and can't run it, then why would i feed it? Not many rabbit hunters in Michigan hunt with green grass and blue sky's. haha

set up
LOL!!! You Michigan boys got me good with that set up question, lol. I thought you Smith Bro's were serious about beaglers opinions on the best line of dogs. When in fact the whole thing was a set-up to promote Lone Pine Kennel. Why didn't you just ask, whose got the best line of dogs in Evart, Michigan ? Eichelberger may gotten a few votes. Good one guys. lol

Big Mike,
never said anything about the best line.
I'm sure there are plenty of better lines out there.
He was looking for nose big guy.
just nose.
my best dog is a cold trailing son of a gun! Most trialers don't like that. But i tell ya what, he has never not been able to circle a jumped rabbit!!
I run him all winter and early in the morning.
Smith bros. was merely asking questions, no set up intended.
Sorry if you felt trapped.

Mike if you ever meet me or even talked to me you would know I am alot of things like out spoken and honest.
If I have something to say I say it.
I like the mississippi dogs. I like them enough to base my whole breeding program on them. My best dog is from mississippi and he suites me just fine. In fact if you look at the US championship Champ class trial resultes you might just find that the #1 and #2 are out of that mouthy pot licker sleeping in my kennel right now.
We just added a few more mississippi dogs to our kennel up here.
I'm sure you will here about it. I'll be at the run off with two of them.
But I don't pretend to think I am going to take them north and kill rabbits over them solo on a 5 degree day on old snow.
Rambo is still the best (pp style) dog in this state when it comes to running on bad conditions.
Thats not to take anything away from the mississippi dogs but michigan weather sucks and it takes a hell of a cold nose to run cottontail up here in the winter.
To answer the original question. Of who has the biggest nose with a correct mouth? I have no idea. I have never seen a dog that could run affectivly and with out trouble when others could not run at all with out having some extra mouth.
On a cold morning when you have a dog with that kind of nose you are going to have cold trailing.

NON-SENSE
I am certain I don't know any of you gentlemen or ladies, and I am equally certain you all have fine hounds that fit YOUR needs. However, I can see how big mike would have misinterpeted Smithbro's post. First S/BRO ask a question that can't be answered, Big/M gives his opinion, Then Lone Pine, bad raps the Gunsmoke line, then just so happens he has a better dog FOR SALE.
The best thing to do, in my opinion, is to end this non-sense before someone gets their feelings hurt for no good reason.
Keep runn'en & gunn'en
