today's hunt

Post by spado »

Today's hunt with three dogs in two hours. All rabbits were circled at least once. I think I found another little honey hole here in Iowa. The dogs are Spado's Tracker Tess{ Short's x Branko}, Spado's Briar Buster{FC Bingo's Mr. Postman x Wade's Crooked Creek Gold Dust}, and Wade's Crooked Creek Gold Dust{ Ali-Baba topside, Heli-Prop bottomside}.

Mark,
Looks like you guys had a good time. I got six today but it took a little longer. I have a heck of a time seeing these rabbits without snow.

One week later, Sun. afternoon thought we would try it again. Same exact spot. Only difference is two inches of snow and temps right around 30 degrees. We shot nine in two and a half hours, only I didn't bring my camera this time. This is a true honey hole folks. Whe we were cleaning rabbits we could here the yotes yipping in the distance. Sounded like quite a few of em.
