What is the best pedigree service out there to obtain a pedigree? How much do they generally cost? Do most people obtain the 3 generation pedigree from AKC when registering a pup or use another service?
Thanks,
Dawg

I've used Hoyle's Pedigree Service and found them to be very nice. I've also purchased the ones online from AKC. Honestly I wouldn't pay to get the 3 gen from AKC, which is mailed to you. You can get the online one a heck of a lot cheaper for 5 generation. http://www.akc.org/store/

i read that the akc is going to stop publishing the stud books.this will hurt other pedagree services.the akc made millions last year but say say they cant afford to publish the stud books.i think they are tring to get a monopoly on pedagrees. every one should e-mail the akc and protest.
