I just bought a 10 month old female puppy and am new to Beagle bloodlines and want to start me a small pack of rabbit hounds. I am no stranger to hounds and breeding as I was raised with running Walker coyote hounds and am as knowledgeable as anyone on their breeding. For some reason, (probably because she is red nosed and liver colored) I am about this Beagle puppy's third owner since the breeder.
I'll list the 8 hounds in her third generation from top to bottom and tell me if yall know anything about these hounds and if they're any good. Thanks for your help.

id say a med speed hound

with the tadpole and homer in there she should have good hard hunt to her,,,,,

How do you train a hound on coyote ? Your beagle should have good hunt.

The same way you train a young Beagle on rabbit. Turn a young fox/coyote hound loose with older trained hounds time after time. They'll either make a hand or they won't.

This a Walker American Foxhound. The kind of hound it takes to have enough speed and stamina to run a coyote down by scent at night.
