I own Rose City Gumi, she is out of Rose City Cash X Spruce Ridge Cammi. She is 12.5" B/T. Runs a 7 on speed with excellent nose. Excellent hunt and real good jump dog. Can solo a rabbit for a long time and accounts for her game. She will give some extra barks in a check area, but not disruptive in my opinion. She will solve most of the long checks in a pack. She lacks a little toughness. If run 6-8 two days in a row, she will be slow out of kennel on day 3. Has been mainly solo'd and is content to slot up in the pack. She started easy on snow at around 5 months. She often runs all night during the summer and returns to kennel when done. Never known her to ever run any trash. Very quiet in the kennel and seems to have good sense about her. She turned 2 last month. Bred her to Butkus and she only had 1 pup and was an excellent mother. Gumi has good conformation, very straight, lighter build. Overall she is pretty nice dog, the only one I kept out of 4 pups I raised that year.
Look forward to really putting her to the test this winter in some tough conditions. I will know for sure if she is a top shelf hound come spring.
I ran a male off Cash X Gracie for Dave last summer. He was about 13.75, solid build tri-color. Very competetive male that didn't account for his game very well but was sure to have the front of the pack. I understand he has settled down some and accounts for his game better. He had average hunt and good stamina. Had a strong mouth. I understand he has placed in a mid-west trial of 15" males at around 18 months of age. A competition style hound. Have not seen him run since last fall.
