She shows up about five generations back in the pedigree of a couple of my dogs she is from Myers Patch Rhett x Pokeberry Patch, This isn't much help maybe Plowboy or S.R. Patch can give you more help.

O.K. Here is the info straight from Clyde Lefevre, the man who bred ,raised & owned her all her life. She was born in 1981 & her last litter was whelped in 1989 & was a litter of 3 males & no females.
The last litter she had that had a female in it was whelped in 1987.
Therefore if the female is directly out of Emmy Lou Patch, someone has done some paper hocus pocus or something because a female from her would have to be 16 or 17 years old.
The female you have could be a grandpup but if she is 9 years old it is not possible for her to be out of Emmy Lou Patch.
If you would like to send me the name & AKC # of the hound you purchased I would be glad to send you a full 5 generation pedigree.

I am not trying to be negative young man but trying to help you, so don't think I am being smart.

Illinos Boy, if the your papers say(Emmy Lou Patch)only then i would be very concerned about paper tampering. As Terry has said the original Emy Lou Patch belonged to Clyde Lefevre. This makes me very curious who is the sire. Please don`t think that i am sticking my nose where it dosen`t belong but i don`t take kindly to paper tampering. Larry Parrott

the Emmy Lou Patch in my dogs peddigry is out of Myer's Patch RHett

Red saddle back tri, under 14" maybe 13 1/2, stocky build. Nice little hound, not trash proof as she had a couple of deer chases. Produced best when bred to Hammer IV as he was known to produce a large number of trash proof hounds with good ability. Not much to speak of when crossed with Trackdown Swamper and about 50/50 with Stupe.

She was never bred to Hammer IV
She was bred 4 times to my Hammer Patch who was out of Hammer IV.
It is true this was her best cross.
She was bred twice to Stupe & once to Trackdown swamper Patch.
I would be happy with a couple deer chases in 10 years in the country she was hunted in where deer were plentiful. She never strated the deer chase but had too much grit to not hark when another did.
If someone could make it show on here I would send a picture of her for posting but I ain't smart enough to make a picture show on this board.
